Maybe it is not true, but for sure, cross-country meant the MetalCom HunGarian Baja for one weekend. Moreover foreigners also paid attention for this event.
After 7 hard working years we got the World Cup rank from the FIA, as FIA was always satisfied with us, we were able to reach a higher level. It was a really hard way, but after the first day of the HunGarian Baja I was saying that it has been worth the efforts. When we had to decide about the place of this event, I was sure in that Győr would be the right choice, as the people here are really kind, nice and helpful.I am thankful for several people but I would like to mention some of them:

Zsolt Zsernoviczky , Norbert Sipák, István Tóth and György Vajda.
They helped me a lot, and they were working on this race for months. I was wondered how
the drivers liked the competiotion, because they have already participated a lot of other competitions too, so I asked most of them. Everybody was talking about that the MetalCom HunGarian Baja was really great, in addition the super specials were good and technical enough. So I can say that every drivers enjoyed this Hungarian weekend.
I was also curious about the opinions of the press workers. Just as an example, both the portugese and german workers were satisfied with our job, and the qualitiy of the Press Office.
It has only been a couple of days since then but I started to thinkin about the next year. I would like to go back to Veszprém and its surroundings, but I don't want to ignore Győr. As the two cities are not far from eachother maybe we could make a race with a center of Győr, and super specials in Veszprém.
Fortunately, the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) secured a place for us for next
year too. We will organize a Baja World Cup with Bike and Quad category, and it will
be together with the Baja European Championship.
Let's start working!
